Baby's movement, reflexes and locomotion development
We are born with special reflexes, where if there is a problem with the nervous system, these reflexes could remain active and may affect movements for the baby and subsequently, the child and adult.
Compensating movement patterns may develop.
Baby's movements and rough age range:
Baby usually starts turning 4.5 months to 6 months
Baby usually starts Crawling 7 months to 7.5 months
Baby usually starts Walking 10 months to 12 months
Some babies may take a little longer with some movements. If baby is having ongoing difficulty with movement, a check of baby's reflexes and movement patterns could be done by your medical doctor or appropriately qualified health practitioner.
