Perception of Reality
Is Your Perception of Reality Really Accurate and Correct? ....Its everyone else , not me!
Did you know that your brain and central nervous system are constantly changing? This is what scientists call neural plasticity. Your brain receives a constant supply of messages about your body and external environment from the sensory organs- eye, ears, nose, tongue, skins, joints and so on. With this information, your brain maintains a 3D map of your body, and keeps a tab on what's going on outside it. It interprets this information and translates the information based on what it has learned from your past experiences, your expectations , preferences and more. This is your brains bias. There is basically a lot of background processing that happens under the radar. So how you see a situation may not be entirely accurate. An example is vertigo- are you or the world moving or is it your inaccurate perception that you are moving? If you watch the next video, you will find out how chiropractic care can help reset the function of the brain and the central nervous system.
